This page explains how to manage your AlRayan Bank Cash ISA, including how to view it, transfer it, withdraw money, and understand the key ISA rules.
How do I manage my ISA?
The quickest way is through Digital Banking or our website, where you can view your ISA details, complete any required forms, request transfers, and manage withdrawals (where available).
Transferring your ISA
Moving your ISA to another bank
- Contact your new provider and ask them to arrange the transfer
- Complete their ISA Transfer Authority Form
The new provider will then contact us, and we'll process the transfer directly with them. Your ISA keeps its tax-free status.
Moving your ISA within AlRayan Bank
- Complete an ISA Transfer Authority Form
- Send it to us by post or email
We'll transfer your funds internally - this may happen immediately or after any notice period.
Transferring an ISA into AlRayan Bank
- Make sure you already have an ISA with AlRayan Bank
- Complete our ISA Transfer Authority Form
- Send it to us by email (balancereclaim@alrayanbank.co.uk) or post: Customer Services Team, AlRayan Bank, PO Box 8177, London, W1A 8DN
We'll contact your existing provider, and the transfer will be completed between the banks.
Withdrawing money from your ISA
You can withdraw funds using Digital Banking. Money is sent to your nominated account.
Important to know:
- You'll lose the tax-free status on withdrawn funds
- Withdrawals still count towards your annual allowance
- You cannot replace withdrawn funds in the same tax year
What happens next?
- Transfers are handled directly between providers
- Internal transfers are completed once instructions are received
- Withdrawals are sent to your nominated account
- Tax-free status is only preserved when transferring, not withdrawing
How long will it take?
ISA transfers usually take up to 15 working days. Withdrawals follow normal payment times.
Quick tips
- If you're moving your money from one ISA to another, always transfer through the provider - don't withdraw first
- Check whether your account has a notice period
- Make sure your nominated account is set up
- Keep track of your annual ISA allowance
