Board of Directors and the Executive

Giles Cunningham was appointed to the Board in September 2021 and is Chief Executive Officer and Director. 

Giles spent 17 years with Lloyds Banking Group, in various roles including International Transformation Director, Managing Director - International Retail Banking & Strategy, CEO Middle East, Strategy Director Lloyds TSB General Insurance and Finance Director Brazil. Giles left Lloyds Bank to join The Zubair Corporation in Oman as Group CEO, a 10,000-employee conglomerate operating multiple businesses across the Middle East and Asia.

Since 2012 Giles has specialised in Islamic Banking, as CEO International at Qatar Islamic Bank in Doha and most recently Group CEO at London based Bank of London and The Middle East. Giles holds an MBA and is a Harvard Business School alumnus.
