I first joined AlRayan Bank on 20 November 2006 as a fresh graduate and over the years, I’ve worked in several roles where I progressed through multiple promotions. After a brief break, I rejoined in February 2016 and can now proudly count around 19 years of service with the Bank.
In my current role as the Facilities and Premises Manager, I oversee all aspects of hard and soft facilities management. From managing third-party suppliers, overseeing building repairs and health and safety, to leading refurbishment projects, coordinating property sales, onboarding vendors, and handling purchasing - no two days are ever the same. But I thrive on the variety, and the fast-paced, hands-on nature of the job really suits me.
I love my role working for a Bank whose ethos really resonates with me. I also recognise that I’ve had opportunities would be hard to come by elsewhere, including leading major refurbishment and relocation projects across our sites. The flexibility to travel, the convenient location, the support from colleagues, and the benefits the Bank offers all play a part in why I’ve stayed.
Looking back, I’m proud of so many things I’ve achieved over my time here. Professionally, I’ve successfully managed the purchase and refit of multiple buildings, handled major moves, and delivered complex projects.
