I joined the Bank in August 2024, as a Senior Compliance Manager and my role is to ensure that the Bank remains aligned with its regulatory obligations. It’s a very varied, busy and rewarding role that certainly keeps me on my toes!
During my short time at the Bank, the achievement I’m most proud of is our ISO27001 certification. The Bank had been working on it for several years prior to my appointment, and so to be able to come in, understand the business and implement the Information Security Management System within such a short time has been incredibly rewarding
My career began in Damascus, Syria, in 2003, where I worked in a range of sectors such as Telecom, Real Estate, Financial Services, and took roles spanning data analytics, financial modelling, relationship management, and portfolio management.
