Award-winning savings products

We are very proud to share that we were highly commended in two savings categories at the Moneyfacts awards in July. Our Everyday Saver 3 and Instant Access Cash ISA impressed judges in the ‘Best No Notice Account Provider’ category while our 12, 18, 24 and 36 month Fixed Term Deposit accounts led to recognition in the ‘Best Fixed Account Provider’ category.

Moneyfacts is the country’s leading personal finance data provider, and its awards are presented annually for product excellence and outstanding service in the UK personal finance industry.  The awards are totally independent and are decided by the Moneyfacts’ research team and judging panel, who analyse product data from the previous 12 months. This means that only products of the highest quality that perform consistently well are recognised. 

But it’s not the first industry accolade this year. The Banker named our Everyday Saver account as ‘Most Innovative Savings Product’ in its Islamic Banking Awards. As ever, the awards recognised excellence and innovation in retail banks across very varied geographies, but for the first time, there were new categories for sharia-compliant card, home finance and saving products. The judges not only commended us for Everyday Saver 3 market-leading rates at the time of launch, but also for attracting 10,000 new customers.

Moneynet Personal Finance Awards named us as ‘Best Easy Access Savings Provider’ of the year. These awards recognise the very best providers and products from the previous twelve months, celebrating innovative new product developments, which help people get more from their finances. The judges recognised that, despite challenging times we were able to adapt to changing market conditions and outperform our peers, delivering excellent choice, value, and innovative solutions for our customers.

Commenting on the awards, our Chief Commercial Officer, Maisam Fazal, said: “This level of industry recognition is not only testament to the high-quality savings products we deliver to our customers, but also the ability of these products to attract ethically minded investors from across the faith spectrum.”
