Certificate of Profit - 6 April 2017 to 5 April 2018
Al Rayan Bank will send out the 2017/2018 Certificate of Profit for your applicable account(s) from week commencing 23rd April 2018. If you do not receive your certificate within a week of this date, please contact us.
From tax year 2016/17 onwards, Al Rayan Bank replaced Section 975 Tax Certificate with a Certificate of Profit.
A Section 975 Tax Certificate is a written statement showing the profit earned and tax paid on an account.
We will no longer automatically issue Section 975 Tax Certificates annually. A Section 975 Tax Certificate is usually required should you wish to reclaim tax on the profit earned on your savings account. In most cases HM Revenue & Customs no longer require individuals to submit a written tax certificate.
The new Certificate of Profit will provide details of the gross profit earned on your applicable account(s) which you receive each year.
