04 February 2016

Last week, Al Rayan Bank presented the fourth annual British Muslim awards at the Holiday Inn Birmingham City. The awards, which recognise and celebrate the contributions that British Muslims have made to society over the past year, cover a range of fields including business, politics, art, charity and culture. This year’s awards were the most popular to date, attracting thousands of entries from across the UK. More than 400 guests gathered at the ceremony to see who the judges had chosen to receive the prestigious awards.

Commenting on the event, Keith Leach, Chief Commercial Officer, Al Rayan Bank, said, “The British Muslim Awards have become highlight of the calendar, and I was very impressed by the high calibre of entries this year. These awards are significant because they demonstrate the vibrant, creative, progressive and dynamic group that is the British Muslim community.”

Mr Leach delivered the keynote address at the British Muslim awards and presented an award, along with two other Al Rayan Bank senior executives.
