Al Rayan Bank holds Eid dinner for its Edgware Road branch customers
The Bank also announces a Sharia compliant finance Q&A for September
Al Rayan Bank has thanked customers in London by hosting a special Eid Ul Fitr dinner on 22 July 2015. The dinner was designed to celebrate Eid and thank customers for their ongoing support. Customers in London have helped the Bank to achieve the most successful year in its 11 year history, as 2014 saw a 168% increase in operating income, an 86% increase in customer financing and a 59% increase in retail deposits. The Bank also posted a profit for the first time.
The Eid dinner was held at Beirut Café and was attended by 28 guests. It gave customers an opportunity to meet friends and Al Rayan Bank employees in a relaxed and informal environment.

As part of its ongoing commitment to its customers, Al Rayan Bank will also be holding an in-branch Sharia compliant finance question and answer session for existing and prospective customers at its Edgware Road branch in September. The event is designed to promote greater understanding of Sharia compliant banking.
Following an overview of Al Rayan Bank’s products and services by [insert name], branch manager, there will be a presentation on Sharia compliant finance by Samir Alamad, Head of Sharia Compliance & Product Development at Al Rayan Bank. The presentation will cover how the Bank operates differently to conventional banks. This will be followed by a Q&A session and refreshments will be available.
